2024 China Auto Chongqing Summit will be held on June 6-8

"2024 China Auto Chongqing Summit", the annual event of China's auto industry, will be held in Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center on June 6 to 8.  The 26th Chongqing International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Chongqing 2024) will be held concurrently from June 7 to 16.

Hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Automotive Committee and Organizing Committee of Chongqing International Auto Exhibition, supported by Chongqing Municipal People's Government, since its inception in 2013, the Summit has been focusing on discussing the current situation and development trend of international automotive technology and market, aiming at organizing fruitful dialogues among governments, enterprises, industry experts and scholars and relevant institutions worldwide, focusing on practical results.

The Summit is also one of the important activities of Chongqing auto industry as the municipality has just set an ambitious goal to build a world-class intelligent connected and new energy vehicle industrial cluster in the city.

The last edition - CACS2023 -  coincided with the 70th anniversary of the development of China's auto industry, set up 16 sessions with different styles, invited over 70 speakers to share their insights, and attracted nearly 600 audiences to participate. The chairmen of mainstream automakers and the founders of new forces were all present, as well as international supply chain enterprises, IT high-tech companies, investment banks and industry experts gathered together to brainstorm and participate in the grand event. The summit attracted more than 150 journalists to participate in the coverage. Their high-standard and all-round coverage made the voice of the conference originate from the bank of the Jialing River and reach the world.

The global auto industry is still in a period of profound transformation, challenges are continuing, and new opportunities are still emerging. China's economy is speeding up the construction of a new development pattern, promoting high-quality development. New Energy Vehicle (NEV) and Intelligent-Connected-Vehicle (ICV)  have entered a second half, which is of great significance for promoting Chinese-style modernization. The power of transition accumulated by China's auto industry for many years will be further demonstrated in 2024.

As a high-level industry summit held in the middle of the year, CACS 2024 will continue focusing on the theme of "Shaping the Future of an Industry in Transition", discuss the current situation and future trend of the century-long industry. CACS2024 will continue to operate creatively based on existing successful experiences,  inviting policy-makers, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars from automobile enterprises, government departments, technology think-tanks, parts makers and research institutions to gather together on June 6-8 to discuss hot issues in the auto industry from their own unique perspectives and insight into the industry under the new development landscape.
